Simpsonville former city hall destined for apartments following contentious vote

SIMPSONVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, JUL 8 – Simpsonville Council approved a $840,000 sale under a 2021 contract to develop over 200 parking spaces, apartments, and retail in the former city hall building.

Simpsonville’s old City Hall is set for redevelopment. The city agreed to sell the property for $840K to Blue Ridge Holdings for a mixed-use project — though the deal split council members and raised transparency concerns.
