The American company Elevation Lab released a striking product this week: the AirTag Silencer. This allows you to permanently disable the speaker on your AirTag. According to the company, this is useful because it prevents the tracker from giving itself away in the event of theft. It sounds smart, but by doing so, you are simultaneously disabling an important security feature.
