A "School Security Protocol" was signed between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of National Education. Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi announced that 31,000 schoolyard guards have been employed and that police will be continuously on duty at schools classified as high-risk (level 1 and 2).
