The 32nd Sidaction campaign kicks off here in France today. The AIDS prevention campaign works to raise funds for programs fighting HIV here in France and abroad, notably in African nations. With our colleagues at France Television we take a look at some of their work.
In the face of declining funding and rising ideas, Sidaction is mobilizing its partners to prevent a resumption of the AIDS epidemic to prevent AIDS from returning to the country.
As part of Sidaction, a day of AIDS testing took place on 26 March in the heart of Limoges, in front of the major halls. Testing for HIV remains relevant, especially with the increase in risk behaviours among young people.
Sidaction, which aims to fund research and support access to AIDS care, is taking place from 27 to 29 March 2026. The fight against HIV-related disease is greatly weakened around the world, between budget cuts and increasing attacks on the rights of LGBT+ people.
