PM Modi Meets Shubhanshu Shukla, Astronaut Shares Pictures of Earth Clicked From International Space Station: Video
Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shared mission insights and scientific experiment results with PM Modi, highlighting progress toward India’s Gaganyaan human spaceflight programme, officials said.

- Shukla flew on the Axiom-4 private mission launched on June 25 from Florida, docked at the ISS on June 26, and returned to Earth on July 15 after an 18-day orbital stay.
- During the nearly three-week Axiom-4 mission, Shukla carried out more than sixty scientific investigations and led around twenty public engagement activities, while also recording his training and experiences as directed by Prime Minister Modi to support the Gaganyaan program.
- Shukla recalled the assignment entrusted to him by the prime minister and confirmed that he completed it successfully, expressing eagerness to share the results of his work.
- The city of Lucknow plans to honor Shukla by naming a road and a park after him, reflecting pride in his mission and its significance for India’s space ambitions.
