As expected, competition at the Nebraska State Class C track meet was stiff. Superior High School contestants placed as follows: Dayne Clark placed 12th in both the shot put and discus. His discus throw was a personal best at 154 feet eight inches. He threw the shot put 51 feet one inch. The shot put distance was 61 feet 10.75 inches and the winning discus distance was 196 feet four inches....
