The rain didn't bode well. A massive crash, caused by a shoulder duel at the front, marred the final stage. Tim Merlier miraculously escaped a fall, but Biniam Girmay wasn't so lucky. The Eritrean rider crashed hard and suffered an injury (probably to his wrist). Watch the footage below.
