Shooting temporarily shuts down 229 in Tallassee

Suspects wanted in Tallassee shooting that injured three

Tallassee police are looking for two people wanted for a shooting earlier this week that injured three people. The incident happened around 4:53 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Highway 229. Once officers and fire medics arrived, they found two juvenile victims with gunshot wounds.
