Shooting reported in Chester

Police and ambulance crews were sent to the 800 block of McDowell Avenue in Chester shortly after 3 p.m. for a shooting. Police were told there was a fight in progress, and when they arrived found a male laying in the street with a gunshot wound to the stomach, according to police radio traffic.
