Shots were fired Wednesday morning near two Allentown schools, leading to temporary lockdowns, district officials said.Melissa Reese, Allentown School District spokeswoman, told lehighvalleylive.com the lockdown happened at both William Allen High School and Francis D. Raub Middle School. It was brief and lifted around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Reese said.
