‘Shoofly’ construction in Erie to play role in Austin Avenue roundabout project

Crews were to begin constructing a temporary detour road, called a shoofly, on the west side of County Line Road this week to aid traffic during roundabout construction at Austin Avenue, according to a town of Erie newsletter. The bypass will allow traffic to flow around the intersection during roundabout construction.
