On Friday, police released footage of the tragic collision between a train and two men at the Rájec-Jestřebí station in the Blanensko region, which occurred on August 11. In this context, they warn that entering the tracks can end in death in an instant. This year, there have already been nineteen similar incidents in the South Moravian Region.
As part of a preventive campaign, the Czech Police have released a dramatic video of a train crashing into two men who fell through a barrier as an express train passed through a closed crossing. They are therefore appealing to pedestrians to cross the railway line only at marked places. "Crossing the tracks outside of marked crossings or level crossings is an offence and always poses a serious risk," the police warn.
