A horrific bike accident occurred in Hosanagar taluk of Shivamogga district. 26-year-old Santosh died on the spot when a large branch of a dry tree on the side of the road fell on his bike while he was riding on Tariga Road. Another young man, Veerabhadra, who was on the bike, was seriously injured in the incident while he was out fishing and was admitted to the hospital. Rippanpet police visited the spot, registered a case and are investigating.
