At around 5:50 p.m. on the 28th, it was discovered that a vehicle had come into contact with a person on the Sanyo Shinkansen between Fukuyama and Shin-Onomichi in Nishitocho, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and service was suspended on both the inbound and outbound lines between Shin-Osaka and Hakata.
