[Yaese] The team "ASTRO" from the Shimajiri Fire Department, comprised of Nanjo City and Yaese Town, won the "Nawakyu 2026" national rope rescue competition (organized by the same executive committee). While ASTRO had previously won another Kyushu competition in February 2024, this is the first time a team from Okinawa Prefecture has reached the top of a national competition of this type.
