Sheriff Seeks Public’s Help in Child Sex Abuse Case Linked to Former Grape Creek Janitor

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the public regarding an on-going child sexual abuse investigation involving Sammy Ray Soto, age 56.   In early October 2025, the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence on 45th Street, where thousands of child pornography images and videos were located in the possession of Sammy Soto.
