Dubois County Sheriff Keeps Office, Loses Law Enforcement Certification

Dubois County Sheriff Thomas Kleinhelter will remain in office, but has voluntarily relinquished his law enforcement certification. The Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board accepted his credential relinquishment on Monday. Kleinhelter is still facing criminal charges in Marion County for allegedly lying to Indiana State Police investigators during a probe into allegations that he abused his office and misused public resources.
