Woman, 41, Dead After Altercation in Sherbrooke; 18-Year-Old Man Arrested
Police say a young girl was injured in the home and investigators expect charges against the 18-year-old today.

- Officers responded after a resident called around 9 p.m. to report a dispute. "Upon arrival, police discovered a woman with serious injuries inside the residence and arrested an 18-year-old man," Sherbrooke police spokesperson Benoit Pellerin told Radio-Canada.
- Paramedics also found a young girl with an arm injury at the scene. She was transported to the hospital, where her injuries were confirmed as non-life-threatening.
- Patrol officers, investigators, and forensic technicians secured the area to gather evidence. Authorities expect to lay charges against the 18-year-old suspect today.
- The 41-year-old victim was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Police continue processing evidence from the scene.
