Falcons place sixth at cross-country states

TURIN — The South Lewis boys cross-country team competed at the NYSPHSAA championships on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Queensbury High School. The Falcons were predicted to place sixth and finished sixth.

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — Led by senior Leyla Bhursi, the Shenendehowa High School girls cross country team captured its first Class A state title since 2009, Saturday on Queensbury’s 5K course.
