After the scandal about child sex dolls, the French government wants to exclude Shein from the market for the time being. There were loud protests against the first permanent branch of the Chinese online retailer in Paris.
TRIBUNE. In a forum in the "World", MEPs Romain Eskenazi (PS) and Antoine Vermorel-Marques (LR) call for the closure of Shein's French site and the introduction of dissuasive sanctions. In their view, the problem is no longer simply the non-compliance of products or unfair competition, but the marketing of illegal products in the criminal field.
Shein, the fast-fashion giant, is excluded from the Salon Baby in Lille. The sale of child pornography dolls on her platform has triggered a judicial investigation.
An Internet user had made a report a few days before the sordid pedopornographic stern case had been brought up by the DGCCRF.
