CHRIS Wilder's Sheffield United will be the opposition for the first friendly at AESSEAL New York Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Spireites will again face Championship side Sheffield United in pre-season, taking on the Blades at the SMH Group Stadium on Saturday, July 11, with a 3pm kick-off. It is the fourth successive year that the two teams will go head-to-head in pre-season. Ticket details for the game will be confirmed in due course.
