The sheep and goat vaccination campaign will begin no later than October 1, after the arrival of the doses requested by Romania from the European Vaccine Bank, the National Veterinary and Animal Health Agency (ANSVSA) announced. Vaccination against Peste des Petits Ruminants will be carried out only in Constanța and Tulcea counties, while that against Sheep and Goat Variola will be carried out throughout the country.
The vaccination campaign for sheep and goats will begin at the latest on 1 October, immediately after receiving the doses of the vaccine from the European Vaccine Bank. In parallel, the National Veterinary Health Authority and Food Safety (ANSVSA) announced that it will urgent administrative procedures for the purchase of the necessary additional doses.
