1984 Cold Case Solved After DNA Testing

SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 22 – Advanced DNA and forensic genealogy identified Schmidt as the suspect in the 1984 murder and sexual assault after more than 40 years, authorities said.
