The Sharks Sign Coach Ryan Warsofsky to a Contract Extension

On Thursday, the San Jose Sharks signed head coach Ryan Warsofsky to a multiyear contract extension on the first day of training camp before his third season at the helm.
The 37-year-old Warsofsky compiled a 59-85-20 record in his first two seasons, guiding the rebuilding team to the brink of the playoffs while improving by 34 points last season.
