JACKSON COUNTY — A Seymour Police Department sergeant is being credited with saving two lives on Thursday, May 7, after a vehicle veered off the road and became trapped in rising waters near Cypress Lake. The dramatic rescue unfolded roughly five miles north of downtown Seymour. Sgt.
