The call for testimony from the diocese of Coutances (Manche) launched in May 2025 has borne fruit. Despite the long history of the events reported, 43 appeals were received.
On May 28, 2025, the Diocese of Coutances launched a call for testimony after the disclosure of abuse in private schools. 43 appeals were received, denouncing sexual abuse at the Institut Saint-Lô d'Agneaux and Notre-Dame d'Avranches, but also in other institutions.
At a press conference this Friday, January 23, the diocese and the management of the Catholic education of the English Channel gave an update on the outcome of the call for evidence of possible attacks in the English Channel.
