NEW YORK CITY, AUG 1 – The HBO Max series concludes after 12 episodes as declining viewership prompted a two-part finale decision by showrunner Michael Patrick King and key producers.
- On Thursday, Aug. 7, HBO Max announced And Just Like That will end after three seasons with a two-part finale on Aug. 7 and Aug. 14.
- According to King, he and Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys, and Sarah Aubrey decided to end the series this year with a two-part finale and extend from 10 to 12 episodes.
- According to Samba TV, the Season 3 premiere drew 429,000 households, down from 463,000 in Season 2, with viewership waning over time.
- HBO Max confirmed there will be no Season 4 after the series concludes on Aug. 14 with its two-part finale.
