PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — Several people were hurt in a multi-car crash Tuesday evening in Portsmouth. Officers were called around 6:15 p.m. to the area of West Main Road and King Charles Drive. Police said one vehicle sideswiped another, causing a chain reaction that involved two more vehicles, one of which was struck head-on.
