A heavy downpour has hit parts of Bohuslän. Several residential buildings have been affected by flooding and a school has been forced to close.
Heavy rain has fallen across parts of Bohuslän early on Thursday morning. About ten properties in Sotenäs and Tanum, among others, have been flooded, according to the Greater Gothenburg Rescue Service. – It is raining a lot in the area and water has entered basements, Johan Karlsson, alarm and wiring operator.
Heavy rains are causing flooding and major problems along the Bohus coast. SMHI has issued yellow warnings for rain and high flows in several places.
The rain last night and this morning is causing problems around Sotenäs. On Thursday morning, several alarms were received about flooding and water damage to homes. – Kungshamn and Bohus-Malmön are the worst affected, says Björn Wännström from the rescue service.
