In the accident at Shin-Kanuma Station on the Tobu Nikko Line in Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture, where four workers were struck and killed by an express train, it was revealed on the 26th through interviews with investigators that a total of seven workers, including the four who died, were on the tracks until just before the train approached. Of these, three, including the work supervisor, climbed onto the platform and so on.
