A serious disturbance was caused at the closed controlled structure in Kleidi Sintiki, with a group of approximately 40 people causing extensive damage to the 3rd wing and attempting to escape. The incident was brought under control by the police forces without injuries, while the Serres Police Officers' Union reiterates the request for decongestion and immediate repair of the damage to the security infrastructure.
The night was eventful at the closed migrant facility "Kleidi", in the Municipality of Sintiki, Serres. According to information, approximately 40 migrants from the 3rd Wing attacked police forces with stones. The tension began at approximately 23:00 on Tuesday night.
New tension occurred on Tuesday evening (09/09) at the Temporary Accommodation Facility for Asylum Seekers in Kleidi, Municipality of Sintiki, Serres.
