- Retaliatory violence included vehicles set ablaze in Guadalajara, Jalisco and Puerto Vallarta, while airlines Alaska, United, Southwest, WestJet and Air Canada suspended flights, stranding more than 1,000 people overnight in Guadalajara's zoo, Luis Soto Rendén said.
- On Monday, the Jalisco state government canceled major events and suspended schools, the U.S. Embassy in Mexico urged shelter in place with 24/7 consular lines, and more than 250 roadblocks across 20 states were cleared.
