A 62-year-old woman from Cobden was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Whitewater Region Township, the Ontario Provincial Police said Wednesday, May 27.

Police are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision on Highway 17 in Whitewater Region on May 27. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that a 62-year-old woman from Cobden died at the scene.

Serious crash closes Highway 17 at Cobden

Highway 17 is closed from Foresters Falls Road to Kohlsmith Road in the Cobden area due to a serious two vehicle collision. When police released the information, injuries were still being assessed. Renfrew OPP are asking you to please plan to use an alternate route and expect delays if you’re travelling through the area.
