In Senegal, the Constitutional Council invalidated on Thursday, July 9, the constitutional revision law adopted on June 29 by the National Assembly. It was the President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who had petitioned the country's highest court on Monday, alleging "violation of the constitutional revision procedure."
