In Senegal, the former Minister of Mines, Sophie Gladima, was heard on Wednesday, 11 June, by the Commission of Inquiry of the High Court of Justice. She is suspected of embezzlement of nearly 200 million CFA francs in the framework of the management of the Force Covid-19 fund, like four other former ministers of Macky Sall.
The former Minister of Mines and Geology, Aïssatou Sophie Gladima, who has been under a warrant of deposition since 21 May, was heard yesterday for the first time on the facts against him in this case.
