The suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) by India after the Pahalgam terror attack has rattled Pakistan. Pakistani Senator Syed Ali Zafar referred to the situation created by the suspension of the IWT as a "water bomb" on Pakistan, and said that it could lead to severe hunger and deaths. India knew Pakistan would play the victim card and has sent out teams to several countries to explain its stand on the anti-terrorism and the IWT.
