Senate Proposed Weihs as New Rector of the University of Innsbruck

The Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Innsbruck, the physicist Gregor Weihs, appears to be immediately ahead of the election to become the new Rector of the University. In his meeting on Thursday, the University Senate decided to propose Weihs to the University Council as the successor of Noch-Rector Veronika Sexl.
