The High Constitutional Court (HCC) ruled: the proposal of the National Independent Electoral Commission (CENI) setting the date of the next Senate elections on 11 December 2025 is in accordance with the Constitution. Referred to by CENI on 26 August last, the High Court delivered its opinion after deliberation, confirming the admissibility of the application and validating the proposed electoral calendar.
