Senate Banking chair celebrates crypto industry efforts to topple Ohio’s Sherrod Brown

WASHINGTON - Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott on Tuesday celebrated the cryptocurrency industry’s role in defeating his predecessor, telling a crypto conference in Wyoming that he was “really looking forward to” working with the industry after they “got rid of” the committee’s former Democratic chair, Ohio’s Sherrod Brown.
