Sen. Skoufis’s Bill Relaxing Regulation on Alcohol Purchases by Restaurants and Bars Passed Into Law

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y.—State Sen. James Skoufis announced on Jan. 8 that his bill allowing bars and restaurants to purchase small amounts of alcohol from local liquor stores was signed into law. Skoufis said during a press conference at Delancey’s Bar & Restaurant in the Village of Goshen that the new law will allow bars, restaurants, and other such places to buy up to six bottles of wine or liquor a week from local liquor stores.
