A 49-year-old teacher at Crooms Academy has been arrested on allegations she groomed and sexually abused a student, authorities said. Mackenzie McLean, an employee of Seminole County Public Schools since 2001, is accused of providing alcohol and marijuana to a male student over a period of time in 2024 while he was still enrolled at the school, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
