(Kingston, Ontario) Two days after the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) shared details on contraband and unauthorized items seized at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston, the federal agency reported another round of seizures "as a result of the vigilance of staff members."

Correctional Service Canada says it was able seize multiple packages of contraband and unauthorized items at Collins Bay Institution. The packages were seized between July 22 and July 25. Among the items seized included tobacco, marijuana, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, stabbing weapons, as well as cell phones and accessories. The total estimated institutional value of these seizures is approximately $156,645.
