Police Share Body Camera Footage From Deadly Assisted Living Fire
FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, JUL 18 – Bodycam footage reveals Fall River police and firefighters rescuing residents amid hazardous conditions during a fire that killed 10 and injured about 30 at Gabriel House.
- A five-alarm fire erupted at the Gabriel House assisted living facility on Oliver Street in Fall River, killing 10 residents and injuring dozens.
- Many residents at the assisted living facility required two or three people to move, records and staff accounts flagged substandard conditions at Gabriel House, and the Bristol County District Attorney's office said the cause remains under investigation and does not appear suspicious.

Fall River's St. John's Club to host Gabriel House victim fundraiser
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River community is continuing to unite in support of the Gabriel House fire survivors. The Saint John’s Club on Rodman Street in Fall River will host the event that was originally slated to be held at the city’s VFW Hall, but was moved because of a turnout the original venue couldn’t accommodate. The event will start at 6 p.m. and there will be food, live music a DJ and a raffle. Tickets are $20 at the door. …
