A massive wave, over 20 feet high, damaged the Keauhou-Kona Surf & Racquet Club in Keauhou, Hawaii, after crashing directly into the complex and tearing off part of its roof. The incident was reminiscent of a similar event in 2022, when the same building was damaged by the powerful waves associated with Hurricane Darby.
A huge wave surprised residents of an oceanfront condominium in Hawaii as it hit the building with force. The swell ripped roof tiles, threw debris through the air and flooded part of the property.
