- On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal and Genesis unveiled first look images for 'Flesh Impact,' honoring Marilyn Monroe's centennial ahead of its world premiere at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival.
- The film stars Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn and Dakota Johnson as two versions of Monroe, with Gyllenhaal aiming to "re-consider Marilyn's narrative the way she would have wanted: in control and charting her own course."
