State security – understood much more broadly than just in military terms – will become the main focus of the Supreme Audit Office's audit activities in 2026. The new NIK work plan was prepared according to a revised concept, based on six thematic areas defined in the NIK's statute adopted last fall. This is intended to enable a more comprehensive and flexible response to the contemporary challenges facing the state.
