Section of N 1st Street closed after 18-wheeler runs into powerlines

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A section of N 1st Street is closed after an 18-wheeler ran into powerlines in the area. The incident happened around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Police told KTAB and KRBC an 18-wheeler was leaving a parking lot when it caught some low-hanging power lines and pulled them down.
