MDOT to start M-40 project near Gobles Monday

The Michigan Department of Transportation is about to begin a $2.1 million culvert replacement along M-40 near Gobles, and it’s going to affect traffic. MDOT spokesperson Nick Schirripa tells us they’re replacing the Brandywine Creek culvert under M-40 near 24th Avenue. “We have to replace it,” Schirripa said. “It goes across the entire roadway and the road has to come out in order to do it.
