Section of I-81 in Syracuse area will close overnight over next 2 weeks

Syracuse, N.Y. — Sections of Interstate 81 in Syracuse area will close at night over the next two weeks as crews work to demolish the East Glen Avenue bridge as part of the I-81 Viaduct Project.Sections of the highway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday to Saturday and Aug. 4 to 9, the state Department of Transportation said.
