The closure of both lanes will allow Thomas Construction to carry out road repairs and reconstruction.

Portion of Crescent Drive in Kingsport to close

Courtesy of the City of Kingsport KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — A portion of Crescent Drive in Kingsport will be closed to traffic starting May 27. Watauga Street to East Center Street will be closed until July 12 due to road repairs and rebuilding, the City of Kingsport said in a news release. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area. Signs and traffic barrels will be in place to direct drivers around the work zone.
